Let’s get this out of the way right now. I LOVED MY MERCURY MILE BOX!!
In fact, I loved it so much that I bought another one for their Summer Sale.
Now that that’s all out of the way, let’s talk about the important stuff, like what exactly is a Mercury Mile box? If you use, or have seen ads for other boxes delivered to your home (I have a ton of friends who use Bark Box…for example) it’s similar. But better (in my opinion).
When you sign up, Mercury Mile will ask you a series of questions in an extremely fun and interactive questionnaire about you, your running, and gear you like. This is effectively your profile which your stylist will access to pick out your gear.
A stylist you say? Yes.
Your stylist will go through your answers and pick out the best gear for you! They even send along a personal note with the reasoning behind the gear! Talk about personal!
Side story here: In the second box, my stylist wrote: “Keep on running” but I thought it wrote “Keep on winning.” I thought that was quite the assumption since one has to start winning to keep on doing so.
My first box had a ton of summer gear waiting for me. It’s like the folks at Mercury Mile knew the heat was about to turn up in Chicago!
My second box featured more colder weather gear, including a boss Brooks hoodie! I almost (key word) can’t wait for cooler weather so I can wear that!
But what about the gear you don’t like?
Mercury Mile includes a package which you can put the gear you don’t like, and send it back! Don’t wear it, and don’t pay for it. What more could you want?
Did I send back a few items? Naturally. Great gear, just not stuff I would wear enough to pay for it.
Honestly, I have no bad things to say about Mercury Mile. I would 10/10 recommend, and will probably get another one in the future!
