Lets be honest. Sometimes training, and running in general, can be a bit of a drag. You’re tired, sore, and would much rather spend a couple extra hours in bed or on the couch than out running.
Add in trying to figure out when to run workouts, long runs, and easy runs. How long should they be? Where should you run? Let the negotiating with yourself begin.
For me, my motivation was at an all time low (which I’ve mentioned in past posts) since I got past New York. The weather is cold, and I have nothing on the horizon. Three miles? Perfect.
