I have been waiting so long to do a Hot Chocolate race, and it’s finally happening in April!
After hearing so many great things about this race series, and working with them at the NYC Marathon expo, I’ll finally get to run one of these bad boys.
Naturally, I’ve signed myself up for the 15k; which means an automatic PR is heading my way. It also means I can discourage myself by (hopefully) running a significantly faster pace for 15k than my 10 mile PR. Whoops.
I’m also excited for this bad boy because I haven’t run a race in the Cities since I conquered the Twin Cities Marathon back in 2016. So this should be a nice run down memory lane.
More importantly (ok at least for me) there should be some quality competition because the TC running scene is top notch. It’s always nice to see how you stack up, and to get blown away by the legit people.
Will I see you up in the Cities?
